Anybody has some spare cash to spare? Things are really getting ex nowadays, and I'm saddened by the fact that I'm not financially independent yet. But life is full of irony. By the time I become financially independent, I would be saddened by the fact that I have to file taxes.

And did I tell you how much it takes to raise a typical girl? She has to buy skincare products, facial care products, make up, health supplements, buy food to satisfy her cravings, buy bags, shoes, wardrobes of clothes, accessories, spend money doing their hair, trimming their brows, going for facials, manicure and pedicure etc. And if you're a girl who grew up with crooked teeth, bombastic hair, single eye lids, extra few lumps here and there, you spend even more. Other than dealing with ourselves, we like to spend even more buying presents for others (in the process end up buying things for ourselves), decorating our rooms, learning new things (instruments, baking, sports and excercise), buying books, vcds, even stickers and cards, buying stuff for our boyfriends or family, and the nonsense of marketing gimmicks tell us we have to get that low-fat/yoghurt/yummy ice cream at $4.50 when you can buy a tub with that money.

And how much does it take to raise a boy? Just buy him enough t-shirts and jeans. They're such a nice species that when you want to throw away their jeans, they tell you "don't throw leh, I still can wear for a few more years".

Maybe I should revert to the old pri/sec sch days where I would stuff a few dollars here and there. So when I discover time months or years later I see them as money-that-fell-from-the-sky.

School will be fine, I'll take it one day at a time. Life outside school will be fine, I'll take everything one blow at a time.

Anyway, I resolved not to take down any posts after I hit the "publish post" button. Why, this blog is entitled"My Voice" why should I be fretting over what kind of voices to publish. The happy me, downcast me, holy me, godless me, all those still make up me. So silly.
